Part of Louisiana Economic Development's business plan was not only to make LED into one of the top economic development organizations in the U.S., but also to evolve into a great place to work.

The internal staff development and enrichment program to support this initiative was called Great Workplace. To report on the activities of the program, update staff about LED's recent accomplishments and to have a little fun, our team created GwQ: Great Workplace Quarterly (a nod to LED's quarterly publication EQ).

Every issue of GwQ included LED's core values, the business development wins from the prior quarter, a fun fact about each new staff member, and updates about GwQ events.

GwQ was produced internally and distributed to all LED staff during each quarterly staff meeting.

My role in this project was the original design and content component development and then ongoing content contributions and editing.The team took the lead on the overall content development, layout and production each quarter.
